WANT TO BECOME A PERSONAL TRAINER?

Figuring out with whom to get certified can be a grueling task. It often involves reading several articles, scanning online forums, making price calculations, and then finally putting it aside and saying “I’ll decide tomorrow.” I was in the same boat 2 years ago, but I’m so happy I settled on doing my training with the American Council on Exercise since it provided with exactly what I needed:

  • World-recognised certification

  • NCCA Accreditation (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) - a must have

  • Well-rounded Personal Training foundation - you can decide later if you want to specialize in one specific area

  • Guides you through the entire process with exam review, test questions, flash cards and 1-on-1 free online help if you need

  • Thinking long term: they also offer certifications in: health coaching, medical exercise specialist, group fitness instructor, as well as extra courses in: senior fitness, weight management, nutrition etc. therefore you could always continue onto another course staying within an organization you already know.

If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I really recommend it. Knowing you’ll need to learn about 500pgs worth of material from anatomy to behavioral psychology can be daunting, but their course holds your hand through it all, with the ultimate goal of making you pass, and teaching you not only course work, but how to be the best Personal Trainer you can be.

If you’re unsure of which package to get, they have a really simple comparison chart which can help you figure out which one would work best for you. I got the Pro Advantage pack, since I really wanted both digital and hard copies and the ACE Academy Elite option which is the step-by-step study guide, bringing you through every chapter with explanatory videos and quizzes.
